Practice Closure for Essential Staff Training - Wednesday 22nd July 2026

We would like to inform our patients that both Chelston and Barton sites will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 until 8.30am on Thursday 23rd July 2026 for Essential Staff Training.
If you need to contact the Practice during this time you will be directed to an alternative service who will be able to assist you with your medical needs. Your local pharmacy will also be able to help with medical advice.

Covid Information

Vaccination will be offered in England in autumn 2025 to:

· adults aged 75 years and over· residents in a care home for older adults· individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book, the UK Health Security Agency’s information on immunisation against infectious disease

The COVID-19 programme will run from 1 October 2025 to 31 Jan 2026. However, the majority of COVID-19 vaccinations should be completed by 19 December 2025.

Housebound?

The housebound team are going to be visiting patients from October to administer the COVID vaccines.  If you need to be added to this list please call 01803 605117 and choose option 3 for General Enquiries as soon as possible.

The housebound team cannot give you a specific time or date for the visit.

COVID Guidelines Update

Due to changes in guidelines patients are no longer obligated to wear a face covering when attending the surgery. The exception to this would be those with a fever or a temperature, who should wear a mask to protect the vulnerable. If you have a high risk condition, our advice is still to wear a mask for your own protection.
